01

Check the paper structure

Confirm the number of plies, inner layer and whether the top can be folded without damage.

02

Specify fold and label

Define fold width, direction, label position and the required visible finished top.

03

Test feeding and stitch

Use filled and unfilled samples to confirm presentation, needle, thread and stitch result.

02 · FIT CHECK

Where this process fits

Selection guidance, not a performance guarantee.

Good starting conditions

  • The top can be presented flat and consistently
  • The paper construction tolerates the required fold and stitch
  • Label position and finished appearance are defined

Confirm another process when

  • An inner plastic liner needs a separate barrier seal
  • The filled top is irregular or cannot be flattened
  • The bag paper tears during the proposed fold or stitch test

Questions buyers ask

Selection guidance, not a performance guarantee.

Why fold a paper bag before sewing?

Folding can create the required finished top and prepare the paper layers for the specified seam. The need and fold width must be confirmed with a sample.

Can a label be inserted during closing?

A configured folding and sewing line may include label insertion. Confirm label dimensions, position and feeding method.

Is single-needle or twin-needle sewing better?

Neither is universally better. The required seam, bag construction and test result determine the head and stitch pattern.

What sample should be tested?

Provide representative empty and filled bags, the thread or tape requirement, label if used, and a reference of the accepted finished closure.

Prepare the bag data before asking for a quote

Send the bag material, layers, width, filled weight, target output, voltage and a photo of the required finished closure.
